Mychelle Crown also books dancers for events, so if she can't perform she has a group of talented, professional dancers. Our shows are always tasteful and family-friendly, and can be tailored to suit the colors or theme of your event. Mychelle’s goal is to make every show a fun, memorable experience for your guests! Mychelle schedules dancers for Casablanca Moroccan Restaurant and Patogh Catering & Events, and is director of The Crown Jewels Bellydance Company, a multi-award winning professional dance group that is perfect for large festival or corporate events. Mychelle and The Crown Jewels perform a variety of Arab dances, including, Raqs Shaqrqi aka Bellydance, Saidi, Khaleeji, Kawliya, Escandary, Fusion, and more!

Types of Shows

Classic Show

A Classic Show consists of an entrance piece, a veil/sword/wings or prop of choice, an exciting drum solo, and fun audience participation! Perfect for birthday parties, anniversaries, milestone events, corporate parties, and so much more. A Bellydancer is a great way to get your guests up and interacting, and is a memorable experience for your guests! This show can be tailored to suit the colors and theme of your events. Prices start at $300 for a Sacramento-county event for a solo dancer; travel and group prices determined by need.

Wedding Performances

Mychelle is a Wedding Specialist, with experience performing at hundreds of weddings throughout California. She has great relationships with many wedding venues throughout the region. Wedding performances can vary in style and duration, from a Classic Show to several mini-shows to a full Zeffa (wedding march) led by your dancer. Mychelle will work closely with you and/or your wedding planner to ensure you have a perfect performance for your special day. Shows will be tailored to suit the theme and colors of your wedding, and can include duet/trio/and group performances, as well as live musicians.

Show/Lesson

A combination Classic Show and Mini-Bellydance Lesson is a great way to break the ice and get your guests relaxed in no time! The lesson is more structured than with the Classic Show, where guests dance individually or in small groups. With the Show/Lesson package, we get your guests lined up and dancing a short routine in sync. This is a great option for retreat weekends, corporate team-building, bachelorette parties, or if your gym/facility is looking for a preview of bellydance classes.

Restaurant Show

Mychelle Crown books professional performers at the city’s finest Middle Eastern restaurants, including Casablanca Moroccan Restaurant, Patogh Catering and Fine Dining, Kasbah, Marrakech Restaurant, and more. Mychelle hires only the best dancers, and we work as a team to consistently promote and support the venues we work with. Festivals, Showcases, and Corporate Events

Mychelle and The Crown Jewels regularly perform at music festivals and corporate events throughout California. Mychelle works with a wide network of entertainers to provide small or large group dance performances in a variety of styles, from traditional folk dance to modern Fusion. She also works with live musicians, henna artists, tarot readers, aerialists, and more to create large, spectacular showcases.
